音読は英語学習でも基本ではあるものの地味に一番確実な効果をもたらす学習方法であると言えます。

現地の人たちでも推奨する方法は声に出して英語を読むということです。視覚のみならず、聴覚からも学ぶことできるというが大きなメリットだといえるでしょう。声に出すことで理解しやすく、覚えやすい。その結果、効率を上げることにも繋がります。

ポイントはリズム、アクセント、抑揚の強弱、そして息継ぎです。我々が使う日本語は世界中の言語の中でもわりと平坦な喋り方をするといわれています。

それに対し、英語というのは抑揚がとても強い言語です。ここがある種の壁になってくるともいえます。

テキストを読むにしてもそういったところに意識を向け、何度も何度も繰り返すことで身についていくものでしょう。CMを何度もみると覚えてしまうのと同じで繰り返すことで英会話は間違いなく向上する。
